Outside my window...I can hear the cranes playing in the pond.
I am thinking...about last nights Academy Awards. Of the dresses I saw, if you put a little jacket with it, they would be totally lovely.
I am thankful for...Lent. I'm looking forward to Wednesday, but I'm still thinking about my Lenten resolutions.
From the kitchen...
Monday: Pulled Pork Sandwiches, coleslaw, pears
Tuesday: Pasta Night
Wednesday: Peanut Butter Sandwiches (Me since nursing), Bread for DH
Thursday: Chicken and Rice Casserole
Friday: Slow Cooker Mac 'n' Cheese, salad, fruit
I am wearing...navy blue stretchy skirt, kelly green tee. Comfy clothes for house cleaning.
I am (still) creating...notes for my presentation.
I am going...to be cleaning the house today and working on my presentation. That's it.
I am reading...The Catechism of the Catholic Church
I am hoping...that I can make a little more progress today in both areas--house and writing.
I am hearing...Pearl playing in her chair
Around the house...Laundry to put away, dust to be vacuumed, Pearl's toys to be thrown in the washer, piles of research material.
One of my favorite things...Having my husband to myself all weekend. It was so nice to just spend time together as a family.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Meet with Home Owner's Assoc., meet with financial advisor, file taxes, attend Mass on Ash Wednesday, Friends over for Dinner on Friday, house cleaning, continue working on presentation.

dont know if it will help you in your case but what helps me write is a good set of earplugs. you can buy a reusable pair cheap at walgreens. that and a nice clear desk. I find cluter too distracting and it end up annying me more than anything when I try to write.
