Deliver us, Lord, from every evil, and grant us
peace in our day. In your mercy keep us free
from sin and protect us from all anxiety as we

What a week!
It was a whirlwind of a week. We traveled down to South Florida to stay with my in-laws before DH graduated with his Masters this past Saturday. It was a lovely ceremony and even though DH said it wasn't a big deal to him, you could tell that it really was. My sister-in-law flew in for the weekend and DH was so surprised and happy!
It was also special to spend Mother's Day with my mother-in-law and it was so nice for her to have both her children, myself and Pearl to celebrate the day with her.
We had fun playing in their pool, hitting up the local Goodwills for some childrens books on my list, and watching our Pittsburgh Penguins battle the Washington Capitals.
Go Pens! Easter Conference Finals against the Carolina Hurricanes start on Monday!
Now we're back and trying to get into our rhythm again.
Pearl had her 9 mos. appt. this past Tuesday and is now in the 90th percentile for height and 75th for weight. A switcheroo from last time. She is great on her motor skills and the only thing that was a little worrisome was her iron count. A little low, so now she's on drops and making sure we both get more into our diet. I need to remind myself that nachos, while tasty, is not the best nutritional choice while nursing.
So nachos out, spinach salad in!
Lots of laundry to catch up on, hosting our pastor for dinner tomorrow and a friend's baby shower on Sunday. Good times!
