Deliver us, Lord, from every evil, and grant us
peace in our day. In your mercy keep us free
from sin and protect us from all anxiety as we
WAIT IN JOYFUL HOPE for the coming of our Savior,
Jesus Christ.

Advent Chain
CatholicAdvent has some ideas of how to celebrate Advent.
When DH and I got married, we decided to start some Advent traditions within our family that we did not personally grow up with.
We started an Advent Prayer Chain. Each day of advent, we each pull a strip of paper (I like to use pink, purple, and white construction paper). On the paper is written a good deed to do, a prayer intention to pray for, or a small sacrifice to offer.
At the end of the day, once it has been completed, we staple the papers into a chain. Our chain then decorates our little Christmas tree.
This week I am working on what is to be written up for this year's Advent season. So if you have a prayer intention that you would like added on to our list for this year's chain, please email me at Exspectantes@gmail.com
