Our friend, Jen, did the colors in pink and green as I had requested that it not be ALL pink. We had a lovely spread of veggies, fruit, chicken salad sandwiches, cheese with crackers, and a cake.
We played games such as: using the string to guess how big my tummy is, finish the nursery rhyme, and gift bingo. The ladies were quite competitive which made for a fun time. For the bingo, each gift got a sticky with a number on it and as I opened the gift I called the number. The ladies had to mark off on their bingo card and try to get five in a row for the Bingo.
We received such generous gifts as an activity chair, baby bathtub, outfits, washcloths, towels, bibs, child thermometer, infant grooming kit, books, swing, and receiving blankets.
DH spent the time washing and waxing our car and came in at the end to snag a piece of cake.
We are truly blessed with such loving friends and family.
