Back in Business

We made it back safe and sound from our vacation. It was great week of doing pretty much nothing:) DH had to work the whole week, so he was set up with his laptop and internet connection. I took lots of naps, played in the pool, and watched little girl kick away. We spent the evenings just spending time together and talking. It was nice to have a week away and re-group.

It was our last trip away before little girl's anticipated arrival. For the rest of the summer we'll be at home just organizing, cleaning, and having family and friends visit us. There isn't too much left to purchase for the babe, just want to take time and get more organized around the house.

The Lord truly answers the prayers and desire to spend time with Him. This past week while we were away we had a Catholic Church right across the street, so we were able to go to daily Mass! Each day there were over 50 people; so heartening to see. This upcoming weekend, I've been invited to go on a Silent Women's Retreat here in town. I thought it was going to just be for single women, but they have welcomed married women as well. I am definitely looking forward to that time in quiet with the Lord. Glad that it's here in town in case I start to not feel well, but hopefully all will go well.

So due to the retreat, it will be quiet from me for a bit more. Thank you for your prayers for us while on vacation and this weekend while I'm on retreat. Be assured of my prayers.
