A great idea to honor Our Lady throughout this Month of May would be to check out this "meme" from Totus Tuus Family.
For today, I'd like to share a favorite image of Our Lady. I greatly admire the works of William Adolphe Bouguereau who paints such lovely images of the Blessed Mother. We have selected this image, "L'Innocence," to go above our little one's co-sleeper.
The tenderness of this painting strikes me deeply and I like the simplicity of the mostly white figures with the dark green of the background. Our Lady with the Lamb and a lamb...definitely feeling the symbollism.
