FOR TODAY - December 1, 2008
Outside my Window…Sunny and quiet; all the neighbors are already gone.
I am thinking…about the 5 wrecks we passed driving home yesterday. Prayers that everyone is okay.
I am thankful for…a safe drive and our own bed.
From the kitchen…oatmeal and coffee.
I am creating…our menu for the week and a grocery list.
Monday: Baked Fish, new potatoes, and a veggie with brownies for dessert
Tuesday: Chili and cornbread
Wednesday: Haluska with crumbly sausage and cinnamon applesauce
Thursday: Spahetti and meatballs with Garlic Bread
Friday: Slow cooker roast with potatoes, onion, carrots and side of green beans along with fresh bread.
I am going…to the library and the grocery store today.
I am wearing…still in PJ's, but soon off to shower and dress.
I am reading…Blue Highways by William Least Heat Moon.
I am hoping…and praying for several friends who carry the cross of infertility.
I am hearing...Pearl's swing.
Around the house…are Advent decorations ready to be set out.
One of my favorite things…a well organized list.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week…Finish setting out Advent, major deep cleaning of the house (one of my Advent preparations), make Advent/New Year Resolutions, get gifts ready for early Christmas celebrated with my family since we will be with DH's family later this month.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you…
Pearl can now do a double roll over and is trying desperately to scoot across the floor. Watch out world!

Wow! She's grown up so much already! And what a cutie! I haven't been keeping up with blogs lately, I'm afraid. I've been ridiculously busy with teaching.
I left you an award on my blog. Feel free to ignore it if you want. My mom sent me the award, so I decided to play along.
God bless!
She's so adorable!
