The Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY Monday, January 19th, 2009

Outside my window...sunny and cool.

I am thinking...of my article; just mulling things over and getting a rough draft together.

I am thankful for...a wonderful visit with my mama this weekend.

From the kitchen...

Monday: "Hamburger mess," salad, and a veggie
Tuesday: Easy pasta or eat with the college students
Wednesday: Creamy Crockpot Chicken, rice, veggie and salad
Thursday: leftovers for me since DH with Men's group, but making dinner for a new mom in my parish's mothers group.
Friday: Slow Cooker pork, rice and a veggie

I am wearing...jeans, pink button down shirt, and hot pink toenail polish (no shoes).

I am creating...a newsletter for the Campus Ministry.

I am continue my chores after this "brief" computer break.

I am reading...The Heart of Motherhood by Donna-Marie Cooper O'Boyle. I get to read snippets while I'm nursing. So good!!

I am hoping...that DH moves the cases of motor oil out of our dining room sometime this week.

I am hearing...the dryer, DH working from his office, Pearl's swing.

Around the house...are projects:)

One of my favorite things...walking to the mailbox early in the morning with Pearl in her sling, just enjoying the cool breeze and smell of dew on the grass.

A few plans for the rest of the week: OCF on Tuesday, take dinner to the new parents, enjoy time with DH before his business trip, phone date with a friend who moved away recently.

Here is picture thought I am sharing...

There couldn't be just one, so you'll just have to click and see them all!
