The Simple Woman's Daybook--Evening Edition

Outside My Window ...the sun slowly sets.
***

I am listening to...Spirit FM on low and waiting to hear if Pearl wakes back up.

***

To Live the Liturgy...Planning on going to Mass on Friday and Saturday to celebrate the Feasts of the Two Hearts.

***

To be Fit and Happy...More walks and swim time as per the weather dictates.

***

I am thankful for...a lovely weekend visiting with DH's grandfather and my good friend, Sr. Stella Maris, on her first home visit in two years.

***

From the kitchen ...Planning meals around a pork roast. Tonight was the actual roast with rice pilaf, sauteed carrots, peas and salad. Tomorrow's lunch will be a pork chili with homemade cornbread and then over the weekend I'll use the remnants in a split pea soup. Gonna stretch this out!

***

I am wearing ...PJ's.

***

I am creating ...still creating my lists for summer home projects. I'm working on giving it a time frame. DH does best when I schedule specific time allotments for projects. ie: Dishwasher repair can be done in one evening during this particular week.

***

I am reading...The Tightwad Gazette by Amy Dacyczyn.

***

I am hoping and praying ...for family members' conversion and a friend's special intention.

***

On Keeping Home ... I start the kitchen overhaul this week! I need to pull out some "pump it up" music to put on while I get revved up for this adventure.

***

One of my favorite things ...Open-mouth kisses from Pearl. Too funny!
***

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week: Prepping for this Sunday's Marriage seminar, celebrate the Feasts of the Two Hearts, have our Associate Pastor over for dinner, quick trip to Post Office and Library.
