Strike Two

It happened today after Mass, second person in a week who congratulated me on my pregnancy.

.....

Umm, I'm not pregnant.

.....

Clearly, I need better wardrobe choices.

.....

But seriously,  it's already hard when we're hoping for more children and then people say things.  They don't mean any harm or anything hurtful, not in the least.  But it does twinge when I'm home thinking about it.  Thankfully I've been able to respond with grace (Praise God!) that "no, I'm not. But we are hoping for more.  Please pray for us."  When I'm home later though, the depression starts to creep back up a bit. Sigh.  Praying for patience, trust in His plan, and joy in the Cross.

My mom said you looked FANTASTIC the last time you were in her store :)

People really ought to know by now not ask people if they are expecting or not. Someone asked me the other day, but it was a lady in her 80s, so a little more forgivable. I'm sure it is even more difficult when you really want to be expecting.

Good luck!

WHAT???? When we saw you last you looked great. Are you sure that it just wasn't really misdirected wishful thinking? I'm not trying to be just a nice friend or anything--you really don't look pg. Maybe it is the dress (toss).

Link up to what you're wearing Sunday or whatever that is and we'll take a tiny poll ;)

You're beautiful. Hang in there. Will be praying for you <3

Actually I'm surprised no one has said that to me yet. I asked hubby if I looked pg still (cause I have never had belly fat til now *sigh*) and he stammered, "Not *that* pregnant."

Oy.
