Outside My Window: Early Sunrise. Tried to sleep in a bit, but still up with the birds.
I Am Thinking: about what still needs to be done for this week. We hit our busy season of the summer very soon and there is a lot of planning still in the works.
Attitude of Gratitude: Thankful for: a good surgery for our Aunt; praying for a good recovery. my cousin Clay and is journey with Leukemia. He has his family with him now and they are enjoying time together while he continues to fight hard.
In the School Room: Piles of items needing to be copied and laminated. Planning a trip out soon to work on those. Looking forward to the IHM conference this week as well. A group of ladies I know are going and I'm going to join their group for the two days.
Celebrating the Liturgical Year: O.L. of Mount Carmel tomorrow. I've always liked this feast, so hopefully we can celebrate with something special.
From the Kitchen:
Sunday: Fellowship with Friends--Fried Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Broccoli, Fried Zucchini, Fruit Salad
Monday: Zucchini Noodles topped with Meatballs and Marinara Sauce
Tuesday: Leftovers
Wednesday: Taco Bar
Thursday: Conference Night
Friday: Date Night
Saturday: In-Laws visiting
I Am Working On: plans for the big summer trip up north. Trying to coordinate lots of visiting with cousins along our route. Maybe even a few college buddies as well.
I Am Creating: in my sewing class. We finished altering some dresses into skirts and now we're looking at patterns. So excited!
I Am Hoping: that God fills in the gaps:) I've loved reading about and listening to passages that all speak to my heart this past week about the need to start from a place of rest and then let activity flow from that rest. We do what we can and ask God to fill in the gaps.
I Am Praying: for my Aunt's recovery, for Clay, for the intentions of two dear friends, for Sarah and her boys on the way, for the blessing of another baby for our family.
I Am Reading: A Little Way of Homeschooling
Words to Ponder: "Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart."
I Am Listening: quiet hum in the house before littles wake up.
Around The House: brand new curriculum piled up waiting to be organized. That's a whole post in itself. Really liking the plan we've chosen. Dishes to be washed from lots of company over this weekend, toy piles from fun playtimes, a little laundry to catch up on, but not much. General homemaking tasks:)
Favorite Things: sisters hugging on each other. Hearing "That's______; my sister!" out of princess's mouth, family fellowship activities, a date night this past Friday, plans for another date night soon!, folding clothes and organizing the girls' dresser.

-planning meeting for our new Parish Homeschool Co-op
