At lunchtime, we sat down and began our blessing. Normally she folds her hands and then pats her chest for the sign of the cross. However, this time she touched her head and smiled at me. I took it as she wanted to do more of the sign of the cross. So I slowed down and said, "Father," and touched my head. She followed. Then "Son," and touched my heart and told her to touch her heart. She did. Then "Holy Spirit," touched shoulders and she did the same. Wahoo!!
Deliver us, Lord, from every evil, and grant us
peace in our day. In your mercy keep us free
from sin and protect us from all anxiety as we
WAIT IN JOYFUL HOPE for the coming of our Savior,
Jesus Christ.

Some new developments
Yesterday Pearl put a shoe on all by herself. Granted it was on the wrong foot, but still...Awesome!
