Deliver us, Lord, from every evil, and grant us
peace in our day. In your mercy keep us free
from sin and protect us from all anxiety as we
WAIT IN JOYFUL HOPE for the coming of our Savior,
Jesus Christ.

Worrying
Artist Unknown
So I don't know if other mamas face this during pregnancy, but I seem to be beset with worries all the time. Worries over big things, worries over little things, but there is always something on my mind that eats away at me.
I'm trying to focus on the tasks at hand and leave everything to the Lord. He will sort through things and guide me in His ways. I pray for peace in my heart, in my mind, and in my soul. To surrender and kick out all things that are not of God.

Oh, indeed my dear! And you are so right to cast your cares upon the Lord. I often think of how our Lady "pondered these things in her heart..." I think the heart of a mother is ever pondering and much of the "suffering and sorrow" with which children are brought forth has nothing to do with physical pain or discomfort, but the internal struggles we all face. His Grace is sufficient for you, my dear. You are on the right track. May you have peace and be blessed.
Worrying is okay. I have found that you can't just make it go away. I make it a habit to pray a Hail Mary whenever I get anxious or think about something or someone that troubles me. It works.(at least for me ;)
