A simple Woman's Daybook

Outside My Window ... A cold but sunny day awaits.

***

I am listening to... Pearl watching Baby Signing Time and eating the last of her cereal.

***

To Live the Liturgy...Daily Mass on Wednesday and celebrating the Feast of O.L. Lourdes. I think that Lourdes is one of my favorite Marian Apparitions.

***

To be Fit and Happy...Hopefully some clear days for some long walks.

***

I am thankful for...the new slipcover for our couch. Stretch to fit and machine washable; excellent combination for a toddler. I'm also thankful for DH and superglue. He glued my sunglasses back together and the knob from our slowcooker! Excellent.

From the kitchen ...

Tuesday: Pasta Night
Wednesday: Roast Chicken, mashed potatoes, sauteed spinach
Thursday: Leftovers
Friday: Split Pea Soup with Grilled Cheese
Saturday: Taking in-laws to BBQ joint
Sunday: Pot Roast with Potatoes and Carrots, Roasted Broccoli, Salad, Rolls, and Rice Krispies

I am wearing...still in pj's; I need to check the weather forecast. I believe it's to be a pretty chilly day today, so might need some layers.

***

I am creating ...clean spaces. Today will be a day at home straightening up after the weekend and getting us on track for the week.

***

I am reading...Chosen and Cherished by Kimberly Hahn and Grace Cafe by Donna-Marie Cooper O'Boyle. I also picked up a few books from the library, one being Confessions of an Suburban Homesteader.

***

I am hoping for...some time to finish up a few library books before Thursday.

***

On Keeping Home ... New rhythms to put into effect. Excited to really enter these next couple of months with specific de-cluttering on my mind as we hope to move this spring/summer. Also am going to join Jessica's challenge. I de-clutter pretty regularly, so I'm not sure if I can get 40 bags, but that will be a good challenge for me.

***

One of my favorite things ... getting up a little earlier than the others and getting my game plan together for the day.

***

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:

I'm hoping to visit a few houses on our "potential" list this week, trip to the pharmacy, preparing for DH's parents to visit this weekend, take more pictures!

A photo I'm sharing:
