Bits and Pieces

It's been an interesting week at our house. By interesting, I mean difficult.

***

DH did something to his neck and is in constant pain. He finally went to the Dr. today and got some new things try and ease the pain. He hasn't been sleeping well and, as is expected, a bit cranky.

***

Pearl has also had some trying nights, about 4 in a row now. So I've been on call for both my uncomfortable loves.

***

I decided that this was the week to give up coffee again. Course things like this happen. Why did I pick this week? But so far, I'm staying strong by the Grace of God.

***

We had lovely visits with both my mom and DH's parents who took turns visiting us this weekend. Pearl was so happy to see them and they were over the moon playing with her.

I am taking some time to go through our closets and bureaus to pull out anything not appropriate for the summer months. Pearl's wardrobe got finished yesterday and today we turned to mine. Mostly to see what I have available to fit my post-partum figure. I also wanted to check my bathing suit options as I don't want to spend money on a new suit. I think I'll be able to get by; although, Pearl thinks my top makes a good dress.

Nothing really new in the house hunting front. The house we like the best still hasn't been listed. It's getting tiring waiting. I have told the Lord that:) I was messing around online the other day and found a house up in PA that is adjacent to DH's cousins' property. Crazy! It's also within our price range. Showed it to DH and said, "Maybe this is a sign." He said maybe, but that he isn't ready to move up there quite yet. So we'll keep waiting for the house down here.

There is a lot I want to be working on: finishing library books, planning some fun curricula for Pearl this next year (for 2-3 year olds), blog stuff... but I'm just a little too tired!

***

Good night!

OOo, I hope you write more on that!

Still praying for you, dear! :-)
