The Simple Woman's Daybook

Outside My Window ... Lots and lots of pollen.  We're using our Neti pots around here.

***

I am listening to...quiet.  It's dark and early and I can't sleep anymore.

***

To Live the Liturgy...Setting aside some extra prayer time this week.  My soul is clinging to the Cross and craving time just with Him.

***

To be Fit and Happy... Hoping to utilize the weather for some outdoor fun with Pearl this week.  Walks, park time, etc.

***

I am thankful for...my mom's visit this weekend.  It was nice to have her here sharing time with Pearl and having some one on one talk time.

***

From the kitchen ... Lots of veggies that need to get eaten.  Trying to get creative with some new cooking methods for them.

***

I am wearing...yoga shorts and a hoodie.

***

I am creating ...a schedule for myself for how to fit in studying for my class.  I started a distance learning program.  Hurray!   Lots of fun, but lots of work.  Carving out time in the evenings to follow the lectures and get the reading done.

***

I am reading...study guides.

***

I am pondering...every little internal feeling.

***

I am hoping for...peace in all things.

***

On Keeping Home...Lots of tidying today.  Whenever we have company there is a pre-clean and a post-clean.  We'll be vacuuming and putting things away today.  Perhaps a grocery trip as well.

***

One of my favorite things ...ESPN on my phone.  It's great to check on the scores:)

***

On the Screen...If it's not hockey, it's March Madness.

***

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...Labs this week; and that's the only thing on my mind.

***

I am praying for...These lab results.  I am struggling right now with anxiety and imsomnia, thinking about this babe and whether he/she is okay.  The words that keep coming to mind..."Let not your hearts be troubled..."  Thank you for your prayers, I can sure use them this week.
